This page outlines how development teams can evaluate stagewise at a small scale, how enterprise customers can begin a formal rollout, and where to request additional security and compliance information.

Preliminary evaluation at small scale

Development teams can evaluate stagewise before starting a wider enterprise procurement or deployment process. A common preliminary evaluation path is to:
  1. Deploy the stagewise application locally.
  2. Use the end-user available stagewise Cloud Inference, or connect it to your company’s own inference infrastructure, where applicable, by using a custom inference endpoint or bring-your-own-key configuration with one of the pre-defined inference providers.
  3. Review and configure telemetry settings according to your organization’s requirements.
  4. Validate the developer workflow with a limited group before expanding usage.
This local setup is intended for preliminary access and evaluation. It allows teams to assess the stagewise developer experience before moving into a formal enterprise rollout. When stagewise is configured with a custom inference endpoint, bring-your-own-key setup with supported inference providers, or with advanced telemetry disabled, stagewise and stagewise Cloud Inference does not store any chat history or AI inference chat input and outputs for analytical or training purposes.

Dedicated enterprise offering

For production use in enterprise environments, stagewise provides a dedicated enterprise offering designed to meet organizational security, compliance, and governance requirements. The enterprise offering supports requirements such as:
  • Compliance with regulatory and organizational demands
  • Central management of accounts and permissions within stagewise Cloud
  • Integration with company authentication systems (SSO) using OIDC and SAML
  • Provisioning via SCIM
  • Advanced analytics capabilities for usage, model preferences, etc.
  • Enterprise rollout and procurement support
  • Security and compliance review processes
  • Data and Computation residence in either our EU or US zones
  • Optional AI inference using stagewise Cloud Inference or stagewise Cloud Inference EU
  • Optional self-hosting of the stagewise Cloud
Enterprise access is available by contacting us directly at sales@stagewise.io.

Enterprise inference options

Enterprise customers can choose how inference should be handled for their organization. stagewise supports organization-wide inference configuration through stagewise Cloud. This allows teams to define which inference endpoints and models are available to developers across the organization. Customers can either connect their own inference infrastructure or choose to use stagewise Cloud Inference. stagewise Cloud Inference is an optional service for organizations that want stagewise to handle access to approved AI models with enterprise-grade security, compliance, configurability, and zero data retention, or ZDR. For EU-based organizations with stricter data residency or regional processing requirements, stagewise also offers an EU-only inference option called stagewise Cloud Inference EU. This option is designed to route inference through EU-contained inference endpoints.
EU-only inference endpoints may not provide access to every model available in the general stagewise enterprise inference offering.

Compliance and security posture

stagewise is SOC 2 Type 1 compliant. We are continuing to expand our enterprise security program. The following items are currently on our roadmap:
  • SOC 2 Type 2
  • ISO 27001
  • External penetration test
Access to our trust center, more detailed security documentation, roadmap timelines, and additional enterprise security details are available upon request. To request access, please contact sales@stagewise.io.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Development teams can evaluate stagewise at a small scale by running the stagewise Agentic IDE and connecting it to their own pre-approved inference setup or the stagewise Cloud. This evaluation path is intended for preliminary access and technical validation. Production enterprise use requires contacting stagewise directly to get you onboarded to our enterprise offering.
No. The end-user setup is intended for preliminary evaluation. The enterprise offering includes centralized account management, organization-wide configuration, permissions, authentication and SSO integrations, usage controls, governance, and enterprise support. For a detailed comparison between the end-user and enterprise product lineup and features, reach out to us at sales@stagewise.io.
Yes. Enterprise customers can use their own inference infrastructure, including custom inference endpoints, private inference stacks, bring-your-own-key configurations with supported providers, or local inference on developer endpoints where appropriate.stagewise-managed inference through our cloud platform is optional.
Yes. stagewise offers managed enterprise inference for organizations that want stagewise to handle access to approved AI models in a secure manner via stagewise Cloud Inference and stagewise Cloud Inference EU.This service is used together with stagewise services and provides enterprise-grade security, compliance, configurability, and zero data retention (ZDR).
Yes. Enterprise customers can configure which models and inference endpoints are available within their organization. This allows teams to align model access with internal security, compliance, cost, and governance requirements.
Yes. stagewise offers an EU-only inference option for organizations that require inference to be handled through EU-contained inference endpoints. This option is designed for stricter data residency or regional processing requirements.
Not always. **stagewise Cloud Inference EU **inference may not offer every model that is available in the general stagewise Cloud Inference offering.Available models can be discussed during enterprise onboarding.
Yes. Enterprise customers of stagewise Cloud Inference are handled with ZDR, or zero data retention.
By default, no. When stagewise is configured with custom inference endpoints, bring-your-own-key setup with supported inference providers, or with advanced telemetry disabled, the stagewise product itself does not track the contents of any agent chat or AI requests. If stagewise cloud-powered inference is used, we store critical metadata to track usage for billing and spend management purposes. The stagewise cloud stores basic usage metadata (cost, model selection, token count, account) as part of it’s offering to track and limit AI consumption.Specific data handling configurations can be reviewed during enterprise onboarding.
Yes. The enterprise offering supports integration with company authentication systems, including SSO.Authentication requirements can be reviewed as part of the enterprise setup process.
Yes. Part of the enterprise offering is the possibility to self-host the stagewise Cloud as part of your organization’s own cloud offering. Please note: The self-host option for the stagewise cloud does not include stagewise cloud inference, meaning that your organization has the freedom to choose an inference setup of your liking.
Yes. Enterprise customers can centrally manage accounts, users, permissions, and access policies through the enterprise setup.
Not yet. An external penetration test is currently on our roadmap.Further details and timelines are available upon request.
